City Bank of Ruidoso sponsored a Welcome Home Robert reception in Ruidoso Sunday afternoon for all the EMS, fire and law enforcement to say "Welcome home hero" to Robert ..
A great crowd gathered in the afternoon sun ... Robert was there even though over the weekend he revisited the hospital to have a bullet removed from his esophagus -- no small bullet either! It had worked its way loose, as doctors thought it might. When they took it out, they rewired Robert's mouth for the broken jaw..this time a little tighter --so he was unable to talk but nodded and accepted hand shakes and hugs for two hours.
