I'm headed to Las Cruces today to talk to Robert Shepperd. With his shooter no longer a danger to him or his peace of mind, Shepperd is ready to talk about what happened. I'm honored to be able to sit with him and hear what he has to say.
He is healing remarkably considering two weeks ago he was in critical condition with multiple gunshot wounds --talking is an effort with a wired jaw (one shot broke it) but that he is one tough cowboy is evident.
Keep him in your prayers ... and his family too. There is a long road ahead for him.
