Winter has arrived!

Although we've not gotten a lot of snow, the mountain tops have been dusted and the rains were welcome. The cold is given, after all folks, it is December. The thermometer has to drop occassionally just to let us know it can. But you know, 55 ° daytime temps is quite tolerable as long as Spring gets here soon.

I took this picture of the Carrizos late yesterday --as they show off their winter dusting while a dark cloud hovers above.
