OK, I know turning the page on the calendar doesn't change a thing, not really. But it CAN be inspiration to do make changes.
For me, 2007 was an incredible year with so many good things happening to me. Trips to visit family, trips to visit friends, my book, Cowgirl Sass & Savvy, finding it's way off the press and into the market place, along with so many other things thats just make the all-around picture of the year wonderful.
I realize that not every year is good for everyone and I've had a few of those kind, too.
We don't usually get a choice in which years are good and which could be better, but what we do have is choice in how it will affect us and what we will learn from it. Once I get those things sorted out, I try to file it away under "Builds Character" and move on.
I have no idea what 2008 will bring for me and my family. But for all of us, I pray prosperity, happiness and something in each day that will bring joy and a smile. If I can laugh each day it is even better.
So laugh with me. It truly is contagious. Let's infect the world around us!
Happy New Year!!!

Hey, Julie!
I'm glad to see you've got this blog still up. I swear, you write so much!
It started off as a rough year. My son ended up in the hospital, my son crashed my car and let's just say, we hit both insurance deductibles by January 7!
I'm hoping it'll be a better rest of the year. That we've had our calamity and that's it. I'm going on a cruise with my 11 year old to Mexico. It'll be great. I'm going on there to DO NOTHING
