Sunday night wrap up

JORDAN
Jordan is still missing but has sent word he is okay --looking for work--somewhere. His family doesn't know where he is. It's a big world for a 17-year-old that has high expectations for his new adventure. Keep him in your prayers.

Grandsons
I spent most of the weekend rocking my 4-month-old grandson who still is very happy with anyone that will feed him and hold him. His older brother, 3, is a perpetual motion machine and I had to rest up after just watching him. Drove to Santa Fe for this "holiday,", threw in a little shopping and enjoyed it all very much. Monday looms!

BOOKS and more BOOKS
Capitan Lions report that 15 LARGE boxes of books were delivered in response to their book drive for Camp Sierra Blanca. Thank you everyone for you support of such a worthy cause. Lions say they will continue taking books anytime --there is always a need.

COWBOY TED
Press release today --Cowboy Ted is visiting New Mexico schools, specifically Mescalero on Tuesday, Carrizozo and Corona on Wednesday morning and Ruidoso Wednesday afternoon. I'm looking at his timeline and thinking he hasn't made that drive from Corona to Ruidoso to often :) :) This is a very big county. He will be at Carrizozo Schools at 8:45 a.m., Corona at 11 a.m. and Ruidoso at 1:20 p.m.

Cowboy Ted is a Utah based lifestyles advocate that encourages kids to "give tobacco the boot." A nationally know rodeo journalist, Cowboy Ted is also a well known Utah radio personality.

BOOOOOOO
Halloween is coming up midweek so keep your eyes peeled for those little goblins and witches (and that's NOT a reference to our newsroom folk!)

TIME CHANGE
AND last but not least..don't forget this upcoming weekend in the FALL BACK time --roll those clocks back for an extra hour Saturday night! AND then get ready to go to work in the dark and come home in the dark, as nature intended!
